Paris to Belgium via Alsace Region and Rhine River

After two European bike tours, I'm ready for more! I plan to ride the canals from Paris out to the Alsace region of France and then meet up with the Eurovelo 15 and cycle down the Rhine River into Belgium. I like a leisurely pace of around 50ks a day and I've picked this route to avoid traffic and hills. I'm looking at cost-effective accommodation options hostels, warm showers etc. Would be happy to hear from like-minded travellers who want a summer vacation on a bike, I'm flexible on dates.
