Australian Adventure

I've had the somewhat ridiculous and spontaneous idea of cycling across Australia. Thinking of starting at the beginning of January and am expecting to be on the road for 6 to 8 weeks, but could be longer or perhaps shorter. Currently thinking of Sydney as the end destination, but this is still TBC  

Will likely do a mixture of camping and Warmshowers (where possible), with the occasional night in a guesthouse (if funds allow).

I am pretty chill as a person and have experienced cycle touring before (within the UK and across North America) Keen for the company for the whole thing or along the way.   Equally, if you have any advice about travelling across Australia (especially in January), then that would also be much appreciated!!
