Balkans/Dinaric Alps

Hello!  I have just restarted my tour after a (glorious) month off in Turkey and Bulgaria. I originally cycled from the south of Spain to Turkey (via Italy) during the spring.  I’m now heading north-west through the Balkans. Currently in Macedonia (Skopje), my rough itinerary is Kosovo, Montenegro and Bosnia & Herzegovina, though I am open to different routes. I am trying to stay in the mountains where possible rather than the coastline. After Bosnia I am somewhat open to where I go next, though I only have a limited number of days left on my Schengen visa.  * I prefer to wild camp or camp wherever possible, with hostels in cities.  * Average distance per day 50-80km depending on hills, with regular days off.  * I am on a gravel bike so a mixture of roads and off-road tracks, but nothing too extreme.  It’s always nice to cycle with company. If you’re in the area over the next month or want to join then by all means reach out! Even if it is just to meet on a layover if we’re going in different directions.  Also, if you have any routes, tips or feedback then I would love to hear.
