GOING SE ASIA

Hi everyone, I'm new to the group. By the end of the summer I would leave Italy heading to South East Asia. I'd like to know your opinion on what's the best route to ride. Whether to the north, through Eastern Europe, or south, across Turkey, where perhaps the climate is milder. Comments about visas issues, geo-political conditions and countries to avoid are also welcome. Anyone interested in joining a leg of the journey, please contact me to sort out arrangements.
