Journey to the East: Seoul to Sapporo

Flights booked! Starting in Seoul, I'll head south along the 4 Rivers Cycle Network towards Busan. From there, I'll get the overnight ferry to Fukuoka. Once in Japan, I'll cycle north through the main island of Honshu passing through Hiroshima, Osaka, Kyoto, and Tokyo. From there, I'll continue north, finishing up in Hokkaido. Along the way, I'll wild camp mostly, sometimes staying in a hostel or Warm, Showers hosts if my bones need a real rest. Expect lots of onsens, sushi, and ramen. I plan to eat everything in sight and learn more about Japanese culture. About me: I'm a 30-year-old Irish man living in Brussels with a good sense of humour and a love of the great outdoors.
