Cross Country Tour Mostly on the Transamerica Route

I will be following the Adventure Cycling Association's western express route and transitioning onto the Transamerica trail. I am expecting ~85 miles a day with a rest day every 10 or so days. I don't have a ton of touring experience, but I can handle myself. I am currently 17, but will be 18 by the time of the ride. I do have a place I need to be by the end, so I wont be able to go slower than 85 miles a day. Also, I am planning on mostly camping and staying at hotels/motels occasionally. (I am male btw).
