EuroVelo 3 - Pilgrims Cycle Route - Trondheim in Norway to Santiago de Compostela

EuroVelo 3 - Pilgrims Cycle Route - Trondheim in Norway to Santiago de Compostela

I am a keen and proficient cyclist and have for some time been interested in doing this ride. I will be 58 years old at the time of this trip and live in Brighton in the UK. I am a qualified bike mechanic and have also worked as a guide/trip leader/mechanic on several multi-day cycling adventures, namely Land's End to John O'Groats, Pisa to Sicily, and Brighton to Barcelona.

Starting in Trondheim, Norway, the aim is to ride the Pilgrim's Way over some 5,600 km to Santiago de Compostela. The route passes through Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Belgium, France and Spain along EuroVelo 3: https://en.eurovelo.com/ev3

I am aiming to complete the trip within 10 weeks and ideally ride supported, with a range of spares, tools and other equipment in the van. I might consider a bikepacking option, but my preference is to cycle light and make good time. I am thinking 6 days on the bike, then a rest day, covering distances of at least 100km per day and probably more on flatter terrain.

I would be interested to hear from anyone with the luxury of time and cycling ability to join me on this ride. Help with planning and logistics would also be required. You would need to be a strong cyclist who has done some significant multi-day tours. If you think this might be you, let me know!

Please note this is still at a very early planning stage, and start and completion will depend on finding suitable partner(s) and willing participants for multi-stage support logistics.
