Hi, I’m setting out on a solo bikepacking expedition across the United States. I fly into Los Angeles on August 3rd, and on August 4th, I’ll roll out from the Pacific Ocean with my sights set on Yorktown, Virginia, aiming to reach the East Coast by late October. This isn’t a race — it’s a personal mission.
I’ll be cycling around 3,200 miles, averaging 55 miles a day, with two rest days a week and a bit of buffer built in for weather, breakdowns, or just taking in the view. I’ve built and refined this route carefully: avoiding dangerous highways, choosing manageable climbs, and prioritizing safety, resupply stops, and wild camping opportunities. From the deserts of the Southwest to the farmlands of the Midwest and finally to the forests of the East, this ride is both a challenge and a statement of intent.
I’m doing this not just for the adventure, but for the growth that comes with it — physically, mentally, and spiritually. The idea is to keep it real, stay resilient, and move forward one mile at a time.
This is my journey. I’m ready. Let’s go.
