Over the years, we have been approached hundreds of times to list commercial cycling holidays on the site.  As we wanted to keep the cycling adventures listed for individuals, we politely refused and removed any commercial entries that suddenly appeared.  Having our free service with paid-for cycling holidays mixed in wasn't a direction we wanted to take.

The above stance has not changed, and we will continue to run the site as normal and free for all individuals to use.  What we have decided to do is create a separate sub-site purely for commercial operators and people looking for a paid-for cycling holiday.  We recognise that not everyone wants to organise their bicycle adventures and like the idea of a planned itinerary.  We see this new sub-site as opening up our community without changing our mission to bring together like-minded cyclists to have adventures together.

This new service will earn some much-needed income to fund the main site and help us move forward with our plans.  We want to help more people discover the joys of bicycle travel and having some extra funds will help us achieve this.
